The first seven launch creatives for a new sustainability and building-performance consultancy in Abu Dhabi, covering 1 to 10 September.
OKELIS is new to social but not new to the work. The account opens with 25 Estidama projects behind it, PQP and ICA appointments held in-house, and a portfolio spanning schools, mosques, hospitals, towers and a hyperscale data centre. The launch has to establish that authority quickly, in a market where most sustainability content is claim-led. Our position is the opposite: every figure we post traces to a model run, a measurement or a documented emission factor.

Quantified, plain and unhurried. No em dashes, no all-capital kickers, no two-beat slogans, no green in the palette. Carried directly from the corporate portfolio design system.
Drafted against the design brief, section 2 on brand positioning and section 14 on tone. The brief asks for technical, confident, concise and solution-oriented language, and for sustainability to be presented as measurable performance rather than environmental aspiration.
OKELIS is a sustainability and building-performance consultancy based in Abu Dhabi, working across the United Arab Emirates and the wider GCC. We integrate sustainability certification, ESG, carbon accounting and advanced building-performance analysis into one technical service, and we build the software that runs it.
Our team holds Pearl Qualified Professional and Independent Commissioning Agent appointments, with 25 projects delivered under the Abu Dhabi Estidama Pearl Rating System, across schools, mosques, hospitals, villas, commercial towers, residential buildings and a hyperscale data centre. Alongside certification we run the analysis that supports it: whole-building energy modelling to ASHRAE 90.1 Appendix G, daylight simulation to IES LM-83, life cycle assessment to EN 15978, life cycle costing to ISO 15686-5 and greenhouse gas accounting to the GHG Protocol.
Most consultancies stop at the report. We go one step further and deploy the software, workflow automation and agentic orchestration that make the analysis repeatable, auditable and fast. Every recommendation is quantified, every assumption is documented, and every result can be checked by a third party.
Most of a building's environmental and financial performance is fixed in the first ten percent of a project. We exist to put reliable evidence in front of those decisions while they can still be changed.
To be the regional consultancy of reference for evidence-based sustainability, where a rating, a target or a disclosure is supported by analysis a third party can reproduce.
To bring certification, carbon, ESG and building-performance analysis into one service, automated where automation makes it better, so clients receive a single, coherent and defensible picture of performance.
The existing tagline is already the brand architecture. It has simply never been used as one. Each word carries a pillar, and every post, service page and proposal can sit under one of the three.
What we are held to. Certification against Estidama, LEED, BREEAM, WELL, Mostadam, Barjeel and Al Sa'fat. Carbon accounting to the GHG Protocol. Whole-life assessment of environmental and financial impact together.
How we get there faster. Parametric simulation, workflow automation, custom software and agentic orchestration, applied to the analysis itself and to the business processes around it.
Why it holds up. Every figure traces to a model run, a measurement or a documented emission factor, structured to survive review by a certification body, an auditor or a lender.
Modelled, referenced and auditable. No unsupported claims.
Advice driven by the analysis, not by a product or a supplier.
Complex analysis communicated so decision-makers can act on it.
We stay on the project through to certification and into operation.
Certification, ESG, GHG, LCA, LCC, energy modelling and daylighting are coordinated rather than subcontracted, and they all derive from the same geometry and the same assumptions, so the numbers never contradict each other.
The part almost nobody else in the region offers is the layer on top. We design and deploy software solutions, AI agents and agentic orchestration for the workflows, business processes and reporting that surround the technical work. Option testing that would take a person a week runs overnight. Disclosure data that would be rekeyed by hand is collected, validated and assembled automatically. The consultancy and the tooling are the same offer.
The active review window runs from 1 to 10 September. Later dates remain visible only as blurred planning context.
All times Gulf Standard Time. LinkedIn carries the business case and runs first each morning. Instagram runs in the evening when reach is highest. X carries the short technical note. Google Business Profile posts weekly to hold local search relevance.

A new sustainability consultancy for Abu Dhabi.
Pillar: Brand

Something new is coming to Abu Dhabi. OKELIS is a sustainability and building-performance consultancy working across the built environment in Abu Dhabi and the wider GCC. We bring certification, carbon accounting and advanced simulation together in one technical team, so that a rating, a target or a disclosure is supported by analysis a third party can reproduce. Our team holds Pearl Qualified Professional and Independent Commissioning Agent appointments, with 25 projects delivered under the Abu Dhabi Estidama Pearl Rating System. Follow along. We are opening this month.

Pillar: Brand

Most projects buy sustainability in pieces. A certification consultant here, an energy modeller there, a carbon accountant somewhere else. The numbers rarely agree, because they were never built on the same model. OKELIS runs them together. Energy, daylight, carbon, cost and certification come off the same geometry and the same assumptions, so findings in one discipline immediately inform the others. No re-basing. No contradictory reports. Seven integrated service lines, coordinated rather than subcontracted.

Sustainability is usually bought in pieces, and the numbers rarely agree. OKELIS runs certification, carbon, energy, daylight and cost off one model, so every figure is consistent and every recommendation is defensible.

Our website goes live this month. It will carry the full picture: the seven service lines, the standards we work to, the sectors we serve, and how an OKELIS engagement actually runs from objective through to verification in operation. What it will not carry is an unsupported claim. Every published figure traces to a model run, a measurement or a documented emission factor, and the assumptions travel with it. 25 Estidama projects delivered. PQP and ICA appointments held in-house. Two Pearl, the highest rating we have delivered.

Ready is something you can model.
Pillar: Green building

World Green Building Week runs from today to 11 September. This year's theme, #BuildItReady, asks for buildings that are resilient, efficient and built for opportunity. Each of those is a number before it is a claim. Resilient is a thermal model under a future weather file. Efficient is energy use intensity in kWh per square metre per year, against an ASHRAE 90.1 Appendix G baseline. Built for opportunity is a whole-life cost over a defined study period, set beside the carbon it avoids. OKELIS is now live. We run all four of these as one connected system: certify, measure, optimize, decarbonize.

25 projects delivered under the Pearl Rating System.
Pillar: Green building

Twenty-five projects delivered under the Abu Dhabi Estidama Pearl Rating System. Schools, mosques, hospitals, villas, commercial towers, residential buildings and a hyperscale data centre. Different occupancy patterns, different internal gains, different ventilation duties, and therefore different strategies. The analysis is set up per sector, not per template. Our Pearl Qualified Professional and Independent Commissioning Agent appointments are held in-house and carried on our own projects, not subcontracted. We stay engaged through construction-stage compliance, submission and final award, which is the stage at which certifications are most often lost.

The baseline decides the result. Set it properly.
Pillar: Performance

Whole-building energy modelling to ASHRAE 90.1 Appendix G. The performance rating method compares a proposed design against a baseline building generated by rule. The savings you can claim depend entirely on how that baseline is constructed: the envelope assumptions, the system type, the fan power, the operating profile, the weather file. Set it loosely and the model flatters the design. Set it properly and it tells you which measures actually earn their cost. We document the assumptions so the result can be checked by a third party, and we report energy use intensity in kWh per square metre per year against a stated baseline.

Daylight plan figure from the portfolio system on paper ground, sDA and ASE metrics called out.
Daylight is a measurement, not an impression.
Pillar: Performance

Daylight simulation to IES LM-83. Two metrics carry most of the decision. Spatial Daylight Autonomy is the percentage of floor area meeting a target illuminance for a set proportion of occupied hours. Annual Sunlight Exposure is the percentage receiving too much direct sun, which is how you catch glare before the occupants do. In this climate the two pull against each other constantly. More glazing lifts sDA and pushes ASE past the point where blinds go down and stay down, at which point the daylight you modelled stops existing. Shading geometry, glazing selection and room depth are resolved together, early, while they can still be changed.
Daylight is a measurement, not an impression. Spatial Daylight Autonomy and Annual Sunlight Exposure, modelled to IES LM-83. More glazing is not more daylight if the blinds go down and stay down.
Daylight simulation to IES LM-83 measures both useful daylight and glare risk. In this climate they pull against each other. Resolving shading, glazing and room depth together, early, is what keeps the daylight you modelled.
